PERSONALITY
Family-Oriented | Patient | Supportive | Athletic | Observant | Dutiful
Insecure | Reckless | Indecisive | Unrealistic | ChildishA man whose attitude is shaped by those around him, Raul has grown to carry all the things his family and friends have given him throughout the years. Naturally loving and finding importance to nurture these bonds, principles, and values, he puts them to work when it comes to taking care of others, especially to people who he deems close or are younger than he is. His idealism of a home of his own is very well kept in his heart.Though unseen on the field, at a more personal level and even to be polite, he's surprisingly patient. Always having the time to give others a chance to speak or act. He's developed a strong tolerance over the years, even if it was by force at first. If people could wait on him, why can't he do the same in return? It's what pushed him further to try being more steadfast in his choices, though his decision making in itself, takes a while. Things like giving encouragement was hard for him at the start, but after defining himself to change, he is very supportive and loyal to those who have stuck with him and who can stick with him in the long run. He will be there for someone when you make good decisions, but also when someone makes mistakes, as he uses his life as a personal lesson that support isn't only for helping someone at their best, but being there at their worst. It's something he somewhat wished he had learned before leading himself up to a fallout, but he can only move forward from here.A real sports enthusiast, he's actually very active, and gives his all in fitness, health, and exercise when he's in the shape and mindset for it. Naturally athletic, he lets it be a big part of his lifestyle. It keeps him alert so he can pay attention to things around him better. It easily shows in the way he outwardly presents himself and his very outdoor ready build.Keenly watching whenever he can, he doesn't let things pass him so easily like he used to, now that he's more aware of himself and his surroundings. As he grows, and even when he faltered, he always had a sense of being, never letting himself take any easy way out, as his stubborn nature makes him feel he has a purpose to be in the world, regardless of his hardships. It may be surprising at first, bit there's something that ties him to the ground he stands upon that never lets him truly let go.After being forced on a muzzle to heel and repress his persistent and fiery behaviour, it twisted him to become more insecure, as what he thought was his best and greatest was just a hindrance to others. He's been trying for the longest time to regain his confidence, but time is his enemy as much as it was his friend, reminding himself of his weaknesses, which causes him to self pity. Though mature, he still has a long way to go to relearn that he can't be everything; that he can't do everything- and that's okay.He's also aware that he has this bad habit of his. His self doubt spreads easily to even his decision making. Though he can stick to whatever he chooses, it takes him a very long time of wavering to even come to that point. This causes him to have half baked decisions on things that could benefit him, so he swings to and fro. One moment he could be on his high horse, but could be on the floor the next. You could question this, and he won't lie, he's very aware of his own hypocrisy. He wishes he could just go back, or just be better than this current state he's in. But wishing can only take him so far.Still a youngest sibling at heart, he can't help but enjoy simple childish things and playful banter. When he can still be stubborn and immature when he opens his shell. Sometimes he misses that young innocence- where he didn't need to have all these adult problems in the way.

A former graduate of The University of California, Los Angeles in industrial engineering. After working three years in his degree prior to making a decision to go into coaching, he now still has a job as a young, rookie logistics engineer in online services for vehicle and transportation rentals.
PERSONAL HISTORY
「 Early Childhood 」On the 9th of November in the city of Los Angeles, a superstar was born- is what his dad liked to say when the only son of the Iglesias family was brought into the world. Raul was born into a big family where his age gap was just as big from his three sisters. Not having a son until this point opened up a big flare of favoritism from his dad especially, having a someone to impart his love for his favorite sport, soccer. Though at first it seemed a bit of a challenge to have four kids, they seemed to manage themselves well enough, the father being a business supervisor for a big supermarket brand and his mother being an accountant for a bank.He wished for his kids to be successful, as any parent would, and put a high bar for them each to reach. For Raul, it was to be in a high paying job one day that he could see him have a family of his own to be able to support. As for sports, he just wanted to be able to give his son a hobby that’d keep him fit and always be able bodied, unlike him who hadn’t been in the game for a very long time.「 A New Ego 」This newfound hobby found him first on the soccer field, as the ball hit his feet and he learned to kick it, dribble, juggle, and find rhythm in a sport that seemed to take too long in game time to have any. To be able to run across the playing field and be called amazing and for people to cheer for him and call out “Raul, Raul!” would make the beating of his chest sound and he felt like he was soaring- such would be from the mind of a purehearted child that felt special, and it developed a sense of pride in him, that he deserved to always play because he was just that good at it.This newfound pride was something he brought wherever he went, proudly showing off his soccer skills as an elementary and middle schooler. It was fine at moderation, and with awards he’d win, it got into his head, thinking just being a great soccer player will make people keep looking up to him and calling his name.「 The I in Teamwork 」Against the feeling of praise and fame, this attitude wasn’t as accepted when he started high school. Seeing as no one had corrected him to have proper control of his show offish behavior, it was just labelled obnoxious at some point. What started as innocent words that meant something as a child came off as words full of air, making himself sound like he was a star player of the team straight off the bat, and the team members couldn’t appreciate it, especially not the older seniors who’d worked so hard. Raul himself knew he was a great player, and after all the hard work he put into it, he was somewhat justified to make such statements- but there’s always a limit to everything, and he past those limits long ago.Just because he was a good player doesn’t mean his team would win games. Though their head coach did his best to guide his team, especially Raul at this point, who was becoming a prominent handicap to the team’s winning streak, it was obvious that personal issues were in the way with him and other seniors above him. The last straw was put out in a game where their disagreements caused a senior to start a fight in the lockers after school hours, other older kids who were on the other boy’s side were inclined to join in and physically hurt him and berate him. It was their warning that if he tried any of his antics again, there’d be more where that came from.「 A New Shell 」Ever since that first event, Raul was still pretty rough and tough about it, but the older kids didn’t back down. After two more incidents, Raul had finally given in to their threats, causing him to have to put down his high horse, as not to be bothered any longer. It kept balance within their team, Raul being forcefully stripped away of what he felt made him great. This caused him to be insecure about expressing his confidence in certain things. Though it made him develop a sense of humility, it had another extreme of the spectrum where his fear had developed into a stance where he thought he wasn’t good anymore, as their team had started to win and done better even without him putting out his best efforts. He was still seen as a pretty great player, and people even commended his development to being less pompous, but in reality, there was just distilled fear within the next few years, as even when the seniors left, there was an air that he just couldn’t let go, and it was a kind that choked him.After years of having to keep himself in this shell of his, and actually keeping that streak of awards, he was noted by a few scouters who wanted him on their university teams for his excelling skills. Seeing as how maybe he could leave these rotting feelings behind in his high school to move on to University, he really hoped for better.「 The Comeback 」After moving to university, where stakes are high and competition were higher, it was the biggest struggle to maintain himself to even catch up to getting to just be a main player. The pressure was strong and deafening as not only athletics, but his academics was yelling at him. Taking a competitive course in industrial engineering and trying to balance out being in a soccer team with a schedule that would class so occasionally took its toll on him, cutting short his social life, being able to manage family time, and even just juggling between soccer and studying was too much. Eventually, he had fallen into a rut. He had to choose one or the other.Though he found it hard, what he felt was his calling had to be cut off from him. Something he thought he loved so much and had put so much time and effort into, down the drain. After he let time and interventions from people around him let him heal, he was able to finally get himself out of it. He promised himself rest, focusing on the things that should matter now, and let himself be happy later on when he’s free. Though he didn’t make any big marks in his sports career, he still excelled in his academics, being able to move on and find a job elsewhere.「 Printy County 」After graduating from university, Raul managed to immediately look for a job himself, securing some experience in California. As a few years passed, and his workload was not his type, he finally detached from it, to find work elsewhere. Wanting a different environment was something he’d wanted for a while, after freeing himself. Somewhere less congested, and he could be able to breathe and stretch a little more. After online interviews and job finding, he wasn’t having much luck, but he really didn’t want to stay in Los Angeles for a while, to just find himself. As he searched, something caught his eye. A job opening for a soccer coach, as the old one had left for unknown reasons.It didn’t have anything to do with his degree, but he felt so compelled, having a connecting to know he could reach out to high schoolers that don’t have to go through what he did. It was a shotgun call, but he did it. Before moving out, he even decided to take training classes on how to even do coaching. After a long while of preparation and hoping his chances were worth it, he packed his bags and sent himself over to Printy County to start a new life. It’d been a year since that decision, and he doesn’t regret- but he does have a lot of questions, and an unsure feeling for the whole alien invasion that had recently come around.Though not a complete hindrance, his feeling of taking an easygoing few years in this town was cut really short. On the bright side, he learned he doesn’t have to look at a trash bin to throw anything away now, and his shots are always on point for his games.
EXTRAS
- He plays the guitar.

Raul can throw, shoot, or kick any small to medium sized objects into trash bins, dumpsters, and any kind of simple container, hole, or crevice.

Raul can now control his body temperature at his own will, but only up to how much his human body can actually handle.

[PTab=Level 3]
The halo that Raul has grown on his head represents his prism and radiating colorful energy. It’s pure astral-like energy, which causes him to never be fatigued. Those in radius of his halo ( 10 ft. radius ) which emit his energy in light rays, are affected as well.
Though never physically exhausted, his mind cannot catch up with it yet as quickly, which leads him to have high levels of stress on end in exchange. He's still learning to be accustomed to it to adapt to his new body.
[/PTab]
[PTab=Level 4]
His Thermal powers have shown their true colors, where Raul can not only control pyro and cryokinesis, but also change his body’s energy to mimic his powers at his will. He can easily walk through extreme temperatures without any problems at all. Raul seems to try not to use these powers often, as his way of trying to be a pacifist through this current situation.

[PTab=Level 5]
Raul’s pure energy works also in a concentrated form, somewhat like a liquid that he can secrete from his body in any way he wants ( sweat, tears, etc. ), this sweet fluid can be used to clear away illnesses, ailments (poison, burn, freeze, etc.), and help someone recover from their injuries quicker. ( Not healing injuries completely- just speeding the recovery process by a lot. (ex. 1 week recovery -> 2 days recovery.) )
His body has now become white and diamond-like in the light. His pure energy makes him shine like a jewel, which matches his halo. His rough and strongly durable body feels like human skin though, which is an after-effect of his willpower to stay human, and his thermal control powers making his body seem softer. He can withstand strong blows, and his biggest weakness is when he hurts himself. His Level 5 power is useful for him when he breaks, because he pieces back together easily.
If his body is shattered, as long as his body parts are close to each other, his astral-like energy can put him back together, but if his head is separated from his body for more than 3 hours, he could possibly die.
