- [Reading.] Wow. Its actually a hobby. He likes reading in general and getting into updates on information, news, articles, books. Strangely calming.
- [Coffee.] Lets be real. Which adult doesn't like coffee. It keeps you up, and probably the only thing in the morning that even helps you get up. And he likes it enough to call a stray cat he picked up Kofi.
- [Warmth and layers.] He'd be fine with putting on 5 layers of clothing and not break a sweat. He just likes it that way, the more layer the better.
- [Hot food, hot drinks, hot anything.] The heat never bothered him anyway.
- [Vacations.] Actually, a break once in a while would be great, thanks.
DISLIKES
- [Cold Weathers/things.] It makes him want to put extra 5 layers on to his existing 5 layer clothings (probably.) Hates the cold, despises it. Probably hates cold water too.

PERSONALITY
Being nice doesn't seem to be his main forte, or at least on his written resume. Packed with plenty of barks and potential bitings, Ignis is an independent individual with nothing nice to say, most of the time. He is honest to a fault, raw with feelings and he doesn't feel the need to sugarcoat his thoughts as long as its for the right reasons. However when it comes to his own feelings, that is a different story. His words can be bitter, salty and often laced with sarcasm, and he is no stranger to bickerings and disagreements provided he was the one being provoked first. He can also be super judgemental to judge someone by first impressions, quick to assume unless proven otherwise.
He may not be the most sociable of all, he takes pride in a being strong and self-reliant. Ignis is independent, and also hardworking, since its a little easier to put in effort into work where people can see it. He often believes that being self-sufficient is better than relying on people, because that often gives him a reason to have to give back (even favors, and factors of getting even), which most of the time is something he rather not do, due to his prideful nature. Stubborn as a mule, he is also the kind that would stand and fight to his very last breath. Even so, a part of him knows how to listen and he is also able to hold his tongue and be civil when presented with fact. He knows his limits, but the question is : Would he adhere to it or push the limit?
He actually prefers solitude and to having little to a few close friends, especially those that could break through the wall that he puts up, plus those who don't mind his evasive behaviour and use of sarcastic words. In fact, persistence seems to be the only way to make him give into company. He is terrible at expressing what he really means, and due to that he often resorts to insulting or avoiding it as much as he can. He is temperamental and moody too, he finds it difficult control his anger, and is very easily annoyed. Despite so, he is observant enough (if he only made more effort to instead of judging people asap) to know if a person is being genuine or fake. Only so, he would slowly let his guard down, and try to be a little nicer, if not shown in the most awkward of ways.
BIOGRAPHY
- Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Russian to a divorcee Dmitri Sōldatov, a banker [50] along with his brother Mischa Sōldatov [22]
- Ignis attended majority of his early education in Russia, before seeking an opportunity to study abroad in United States, majoring in Legal Studies at University of California, Berkeley. During his time there he also studied intensive English, and took some other language electives as well for his own self-betterment.
- His father met Iris Ramsden [39] at a cruise, and later married her after long while of courting and long-distance relationship and settled in Larkspur with her. It was also the time he applied for a job in Printy County as a banker in Larkspur. Ignis was still in Berkeley then.
- His internship was as a Legislative Assistant before he moved back to Larkspur in order to be with the family, at the request of his father. Since the town was small in recognition he saw no reason to pursue a Law firm (there are plenty enough lawyers in this town already), so he opted to work as a Personal Assistant instead till he is able to get a better job opportunity out of Printy County. At the moment, he is only staying for his stepmother and father.
PERSONAL HISTORY
Growing up wasn't exactly smooth sailing for this child, but it was surely an experience. Ignis Soldatov was the firstborn child of Dmitri and Lara Soldatov, and the older brother of Mischa. The family was just right, they didn't earn that much but it was sufficing in the town of St.Petersburg, Russia. The father was a banker, trying to work his way into promotion to better the life of his family and stabilise his career. The marriage between him and Lara ended with a divorce after Dmitri finds out Lara had been committing adultery, much to her loneliness and impatience on waiting on her husband to stabilize his career. During the time Ignis was just in highschool and he was angry, all pent up from the reason that he knew, and witnessed his mother's adultery.
As a method of venting frustrations, he got into fights, mostly in defense of his father who had been suffering blows from the rumors. Soon it became troublesome for him as people loved picking fights with him for some reason. Despite his appearance and personality, he was intelligent, and he studies well, but his grades suffered because of the reputation he had among his peers, and stereotyping by the teachers classifying him as a delinquent. He was left jaded and filled with distrust from his highschool experience.
He was able to graduate, although barely, and leaving the country for college was probably the best decision he made, thanks to his father who worked hard to provide for his expenses and tuition overseas. The problem that came along later was how difficult it was to open up to people, since he unconsciously developed a barrier that rejects people from getting close. He often had the feeling people have ulterior motives when people wanted to get to know him, especially when they have fake-looking smiles or tries to be nice when they're not. He had little to no tolerance for those kinds of people and he avoids them like a plague. He focused on his studies in Legal Studies and soon developed a higher GPA.
Around that time, his father also met his current stepmother, Iris Ramsden (Soldatov now) and he was more than happy to know his father had found his happiness again, although perhaps a bit skeptical over it at first but he slowly warmed up to her. They both wedded. He was still in Berkeley, California as a Legislative Assistant intern then when his father moved to Larkspur along with his only brother Mischa, to live with Iris.
During the time he suffers from a bad break up after almost a somewhat long-term dating and eventually came to a current conclusion that his happiness isn't with someone else. After that, he decided to take a step back on building relationships with people and placed all his effort in his job. Eventually, he took up his family's advice after a year of working in the law firm and decided to come stay in Larkspur with the family at the request of his father to bond properly as a family, and he complied.
It is an interestingly boring town for sure, and since his initial idea was a temporary stay, he decides to work as a Personal Assistant instead in oppose to an actual law-related job. There seems to be plenty of lawyers going about anyway, there is no need for another one, he thought. While waiting for an opportunity to leave the county, Ignis kills time by almost begrudgingly offer himself as someone’s personal assistant. But little did he know the storm that was headed their way, and the redhead finds himself situated in an alien-infested town, and no exit ticket.
