It seems a lot of the fish have started to mutate, and they're gathering initiative to fish them up for study, since going into Nullville for more further developed mutated species is too risky. As a result, fishing booths have been set up along the small public parks near the riverbeds and ponds, offering rental fishing poles, bait, and pamphlets on fishing tips.

Embrace your inner angler.In Acacia→ After all the Gru-filled selfies that've been taken by the younger people, some not-yet-Gru-owned businesses in Acacia have taken to advertising new products in the shapes and images of the Gru, for the sake of them being photographed for social media--Gruburgers, Grushakes, G'r'offles, Gruba tea, Grughnuts, you name it. From weird-shaped to weird-colored to slime-covered, they've certainly been garnering... a type of attention.

It's Trendy™In Larkspur→ Larkspur has finally thawed from the ice storm that wracked it for the whole month of April, but most of the streets are now flooded; however, they don't seem to be taking on the properties of regular floodwaters, as it's very still, and many have taken to crossing the city blocks by boat. While still not advisable to try swimming in, some aliens are offering their services as water taxis to help some get to work or apartments, delivering them by windows and balconies.
Just watch for whatever might be swimming in those waters...Around the County→ A Marker on the Pond event has been set up at Printy State Park, and will be running for several weekends throughout May; essentially a large flea market and craft show, vendors from all over the county drive in to set up shop and sell their wares--from junk, to furniture, to high class junk, to handmade goods, to crafts, to wouldn't-you-know-it art; there's a little something for everyone!
