PERSONAL HISTORY
Harper was the first born of her siblings, raised in the rainy city of Seattle. She and her brothers grew up luxuriously due to her Father’s booming success in the journalism industry, a large estate and property, enrolled in private schools up until university, and a nanny and au pair’s to boot. For as long as Harper could remember, she had always been wanting to chase her father and follow his footsteps in journalism. When the two spent rare quality time together, he would show her pictures of the world of where he travelled, the people he met and their stories. Every time her expression would brighten, excited, and hungry to see more. In her eyes, her father had the world in the palm of his hands, he could see it all, and do it all. She wanted that too. She wanted to see the world that had occupied so much of her father’s time. Not that she resented him, she admired her father for being so dedicated to his work. Pride was the only thing she felt towards her father, and scolded her brothers whenever they complained that he wasn’t around enough. They just couldn’t understand how important he was!
So Harper grew up to be the star daughter that her father had hoped her to be. Passionate, hard working, and outgoing just like he was when he was growing up. Of course, even growing up she saw it as a competition. She was eager to always outdo her brothers in whatever it was, academics, sports, even romance (she’s quite proud to say most of the girls that they brought home ended up being her girlfriends). Her hard work paid off when her father invited her on the very rare hunting trip, or backpacking when he could afford time off of work. There was nothing gratifying than being noticed and spending time with the person she looked up to the most.
Her adolescent years were smoother than most, the only rocky part being the frequent arguments with her mother. Harper did well to please her parents, but her ambitious and sometimes aggressiveness in her pursuits made her mother worried. She didn’t want her to feel like Harper’s only choice in career was journalism, but when she had expressed her worries, Harper took it personally. It was a misunderstanding, but nonetheless it created a rift between the two. Harper still thinks her mother doesn’t really believe in her ability to succeed in journalism. After highschool, she immediately moved to England to attend Oxford university leaving behind her life in the states. She still kept in regular contact with her family (emailing with her mother and father, and sending teasing texts to her brothers), but decided to stay in England after she graduated to intern at BBC for a year. After her internship ended, she was offered a job, but declined to instead work at her father’s company.
She was placed in the Larkspur branch, and with gracious aid from her father, quickly climbed the ladder to one of the lead journalists in the firm and this part of the country. Though she travels a lot for her stories and research, she’s grown quite fond of the city and has made a cozy home here. She still finds time to visit her father in seattle, and of course dotes on her younger brothers with visits.
And by the most astronomical stroke of luck, the county she calls home was blessed with the biggest story in the century. Aliens. She had interviewed more than her fair share of witnesses stories about UFOs, abductions and crop circles, but this, this is the real deal. And here she is fortuitous enough to witness and record the turn of a new age. This would be the story to surpass her Father’s legacy, and prove to her mother that she is truly worthy of this career.

His Rolex watch.
His enemies misery, especially if he's the cause of it.

DISLIKES
Annoying, picky, critical people who are condescending and patronize him. Especially customers.

Poverty and always having to pay rent.

HUNGER. He get's 'hangry'.

PERSONALITY
Trick has no tact at all, he speaks in a direct manner, saying out loud the first thought in his mind without a filter, unable to comprehend the idea of telling people white lies. As someone who has experience in jumping from job to job, he’s been working on trying to follow the basic customer service guidelines of ‘politeness’ with a crooked smile to survive a job.
Despite his straightforward personality he is willing to socialise with others, usually with the intention to meet his needs or prove a point. If anyone tries to go against him in any way, he will stand up for himself and fight if provoked. He tends to be very self-centered but if someone looks past his flaws and proves to him that they enjoy his company, he will care for them and defend them if the situation demands it.
He has the ability to communicate positive energy through dance. If he’s comfortable enough he may spontaneously beat box or snap his fingers while improvising a little dance in any setting, encouraging others around him to join in. He is also not afraid to jump into a group of people and light up the party as long as he is aware that everyone is there to have fun and to forget their problems.
As someone who grew up imitating and learning dance moves, he is attentive and observant, paying attention to the body language of himself and others. As a result, he leaves it to his own judgement on how to interpret the language or if he even pays attention to it at all.
In the end, working diligently to balance his life has made him tired. Often he finds himself slowly losing the fiery passion he had for dance, lacking energy to reserve for patience and sympathy, even for himself. He’s short-tempered and quick to show it, leading to some reckless actions such as ‘accidentally’ spilling coffee onto a customer.

PERSONAL HISTORY
Trick grew up as an only child with his two parents. His parents loved him and he did not miss out on family quality time. He was an energetic, hyperactive child who always brightened up their days. There were times where he would make a mess and get scolded but in the end, he had an ordinary childhood.
One day they went out on one of their usual outings to the city. Trick spotted a dance troupe and watched them in amazement. At that time he knew, he wanted to be like them. After seeing them he surrounded himself with music and imitated as many dance moves as possible, to his parents amusement.
His dance hobbies persisted throughout the years until high school. Studying in high school was not fun for him and it felt restricted. It made him tired and grouchy, eventually talking back to teachers and ditching class whenever he could. He eventually made two friends who shared his passion. His friends enjoyed being around Trick, especially with his blunt attitude. As a result he loved their company. He could be whatever he wanted around them. They would form their own troupe and participate in every talent show that the school held. They spoke of their future of making their own little dance group global, touring together and making money out of it. But alas, this did not last because both of his friends had to move away because of their own family situations. He managed to keep in contact with them until eventually, they stopped replying to his messages. He had no clue why and their online alias’ became inactive. The last thing they mentioned regarding their current location was at Printy County.
Not paying attention to his classes he thought long and hard about his future. With reckless decision making he decided to drop out of high school and move to Printy in hopes he can come across his fellow dance buddies there. His parents were adamant at first but realising that they could not change his mind, decided to help him out, support him in his decision in surviving the world alone to follow his passions.
He moved to Larkspur City, the ideal place for him to street dance. He wondered from place to place, job to job. With the distant support of his parents and the money he saved up, he managed to rent a small apartment for himself. He would spend his spare time on the streets dancing to get exposure and tips. Being in the streets alone wasn't safe, bumping into the occasional misfit, getting into some fights. He also came across people attempting to scam him for his money, falling for it the first few times. Due to that experience he has learnt from it and tries to avoid them as much as possible, within the limits of his judgement. He’d attend night clubs and parties to make as many connections as possible and to keep an eye out for his past friends in hopes they were spending their free time dancing for fun, like the good old times.
Now he has found himself working at a café, doing menial jobs like cleaning. Sometimes the manager gives him the chance to be at the checkout counter or to serve coffee to the customers, but at the risk of him getting into a fight with a customer or making a mess. It’s a mystery why he still manages to keep his job here.
As the years went by, he became a starving, poor dancer desperate for money. The spark in his life was fading as working part-time chipped away at him and his street dancing passions became fruitless, his search for his friends reached a dead-end. The reality of life’s hardships hit him hard as his passions whittled down to the point of just wanting to pay off his rent.
He soon became addicted to partying at night clubs to the level where he ends up in his own apartment forgetting about what happened the night before. There was one incident where he woke up with a Rolex watch and a golden bracelet on his wrist. He dismissed the fact that it could've been an item he stole from one of his night club shenanigans and decided to keep it. As time goes by since this incident, his bad pickpocket tendencies began to emerge. When he spots something valuable, he cannot resist the urge to take it. He has gotten arrested a couple of times and bailed out by his parents. He’s become more careful afterwards. There was one time he managed to take someone’s wallet but, he maintained the courtesy of admitting he ‘accidentally’ took it.
During one of his usual days at the café he saw on TV, news of an alien invasion. He denied the idea of aliens being real, thinking it was just another media ploy to gain attention and views. But if it were ever true, he hopes to some unknown power that they save him from his rent.
EXTRAS
Pizza is his go-to food. But anything instant is a-ok too.
Hip-hop dances with the mop at the café sometimes, eventually dragging other workers to dance with him. The manager was amused but docked his pay anyways.
He has a tattoo of a dragon on his left shoulder. The main reason he got it was to cover a mistake tattoo he got during one of his after-party ventures. It was a poorly tattooed smiley face.
He has one piercing on each ear, 3 fake piercings on his right ear and 2 piercings on his left eyebrow.
The rainbow streak on his hair is a clip-on hair extension. It’s just for looks.
Has terrible eye bags from life in general.
Has developed a ‘mind over matter’ attitude with instances of pain. If he doesn’t care, it’ll hurt less. But it still hurts.
Has a minor burn scar on his right hand from crushing a full coffee cup in front of a customer, because he was pissed off.
He’s fit but with a small frame. He attempts to maintain a diet of store-bought salads, meaty pizzas and cheap fruits with lots of water & alcohol.
If you ask where he got his watch from, he’ll make up a new story every time and then tell you it’s “None of your business.”
COMPLICATIONS
PVP: If you want to see him fight, break dancing style. Injury: Yes. Death: Yes.
“Shoot for the moon, Even if you fail, you’ll land among the stars.” So how come if you fly towards the sun and fail, You fall into the ocean?
He has wings on his back. Though he can’t fly with them, he control their movements and the wings can emit a dim glow that can be used similarly to a flashlight. They are controlled by the vocal commands “Wings On” and “Wings Off.” He finds the power a nuisance as he has to cut holes in all his shirts and his wings keep whacking people behind him. He likes the vocal commands though, since it reminds him of his favorite sentai shows… [/PTab] [PTab=Level 2]
