△ As a long-term character-driven roleplay group, we at AWAFL want to focus on what makes roleplay groups more vivid and unique than any other type of medium: the changes of the widely diverse cast of characters that make up its core. Characters and their growth is the lifeblood of any good roleplay group, and to highlight that feature in this group, we have SNAPSHOTS, a showcase of these aspects.

△ Snapshots are effectively character prompts completed through art and/or writing that aim to offer a deeper look into a person's life, look, and feel at that moment in a current time. Snapshots are generalized to be widely applied, but are encouraged to be decorated, filled with character motivations, individual plotlines, important experiences, and impactful relationships they had and have as they continue to live in Printy County; they're a tool to help you expand and explain their unique stories even further.

△ These prompts and templates can be completed at any point in time, in any order, and can be completed as many times as you prefer. The idea is that they will all be compiled here, as a collection of a parallel, personalized stories stretching along a long period of time. Your characters will be able to build their own voice, yet still be interwoven with the memories of those around them.

△ Though pictures can tell a thousand words, they still don't say it all. Take a deeper look at your character, past the guise of visuals alone; look into their aspects, both physically, and mentally. What kind of person are they? Fill out this character survey to learn more about them.
