A quiet, sleepy hamlet inhabited by the majority of suburbia-seeking families in the county. Known most in how it always seems coated in flowers, Phlox is a slice of picturesque hometown living with house-lined streets for miles and miles. With residences accommodating for all sizes and incomes, both public and private schools of every level, and a broad spectrum of locally-owned and commercially operated businesses, it is average in most respects, but comfortably so.
Phlox's main street, located at its heart, is its busiest, housing all of the town's essentials-- its supermarket, hardware store, staple eateries, etc., all of which are proudly sat just below the hill upon which Printy's Paper Mill resides. Despite the county's marketing committee pressing the Mill as the county's biggest attraction -- and Phlox's -- the residents are all rather tired of hearing about it, and tend to become disgruntled at mentions of it. Chances are every citizen of Phlox has been forced to visit there at least once.
The aliens have only taken over a few businesses in Phlox, as the majority invading the area are generally more interested in learning the habits and everyday routines humanity goes through. In an effort to learn more about human culture they are often led to be seen often in stores, restaurants, schools, and even infiltrating the local police force, attempting to educate themselves and suggest better alternatives. These regular invaders, while by means are hostile, are mostly regarded to be quite a nuisance... especially since they don't clean up after themselves!
